Policing or Genocide
African-Americans for far too long and too often are dying at the hands of those who are meant to protect and serve. I aim to memorialize African American victims of police brutality by photographing individuals wearing clothing that emulates the victims and holding an object of importance that reflects what they lost and loved. Localities have been chosen based on the precincts involved in the brutality. Oddly enough, all were in Brooklyn.
